It’s official! The 2016 Chapter One Young Writers Conference will take place Saturday, August 6th at the Hilton Garden Inn in St. Charles, IL, a western suburb of Chicago.

Mark your calendars, because we are SO EXCITED to bring the 2016 conference to you! With this new location, Ch1Con is going to be bigger and better than ever. We can’t wait to share our speakers and other announcements with you, so stay tuned for lots more info, coming soon!

I graduated in 2016 from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a BA in Honors Creative Writing & Literature and Global Media Studies (Film), followed by the inaugural Columbia Publishing Course UK. I live in New York City, where I work in children's book publishing, run a small photography business, am president of nonprofit organization Chapter One Events, and spend most of my free time writing. Occasionally, I also sleep.
